Join us for Something - a video screening curated by Marco Antonini at Pratt Manhattan Gallery (144 W 14th St, btwn 6th Ave and 7th Ave, 2nd floor), 7pm:

This video screening will explore the themes of chance, randomness and the unforeseen in contemporary art. It will question how unexpected events become opportunities, how they represent a risk, and what threat they pose to the time-space continuum we have crafted.

Featuring: Ivan Argote, Tobias Collier, Simon Faithfull, Wojciech Gilewicz, Leopold Kessler, Jules Marquis, Chris Moukarbel, Valerio Rocco Orlando, Colin Snapp, Virginie Yassef

Marco Antonini is a New York based independent curator and writer. He has collaborated with reputable NY organizations, including the Elizabeth Foundation, LMCC, ISE Foundation, Japan Society, Triangle Arts and ISCP. Antonini is Adjunct Professor of Art History at New Jersey City University and William Paterson University and Lecturer at MoMA, PS1, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and 3rdWard Design Center. His articles, essays and interviews have been published in Flash Art International, Cura, Whitehot, Museo, BMM, Contemporary, AroundPhotography, Arte&Critica and NYArts.
